This Disclaimer (“Policy”) applies to all products sold by The Fragrance Vault, a DBA of KYW Body Shop, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or purchasing from us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. We Do Not Manufacture Fragrances
The Fragrance Vault is a reseller, not a manufacturer.
We source authentic products exclusively from reputable U.S. distributors, wholesalers, liquidators, and authorized supply chains.
Because we do not create, modify, or alter fragrances:
- We are not responsible for manufacturer design variations
- We are not responsible for formula updates
- We are not responsible for batch-to-batch differences
- We cannot control bottle style updates, paint variations, or packaging changes
- We do not alter batch codes or packaging in any way
All variations are manufacturer-driven, not defects or evidence of inauthenticity.
2. Natural Batch, Packaging & Formula Variations
Customers acknowledge that luxury fragrance houses frequently update:
- Bottle molds
- Label fonts
- Packaging material
- Cap design
- Atomizers
- Batch-code placements
- Allergen disclosures
- Fragrance formulas
These changes may vary by:
- Production year
- Manufacturing facility
- Region
- Supply-chain phase
Such variations are normal and expected and do not indicate counterfeit status.
Claims of inauthenticity based solely on YouTube videos, online blogs, forums, or “comparison charts” are not accepted as official documentation.
3. Counterfeit Claims & Authenticity Disputes
Because anyone can claim a fragrance is inauthentic after using it or after the return window closes, our authenticity policies are intentionally strict to protect both our business and our genuine customers.
Customers agree and acknowledge that:
- Authenticity claims must follow our posted Authenticity Guarantee & Product Assurance Policy
- We do not accept claims outside the required documentation standards
- Unverified opinions, third-party bloggers, and personal comparisons are not official proof
- Filing repeated false claims, fabricated documentation, or manipulating packaging is prohibited
- Misusing authenticity claims to seek unauthorized refunds constitutes fraud
We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who abuse these policies.
4. No Unauthorized Investigations
Because we do not manufacture fragrances and we do not knowingly buy or sell counterfeit goods, customers agree:
Customers may not initiate counterfeit-related investigations against our business outside the structured review process outlined in our Authenticity Policy.
This protects the integrity of our supply chain and allows us to properly investigate vendors if needed.
5. Third-Party Opinion Limitations
We do not accept the following as authenticity proof:
- YouTube comparison videos
- Social media opinions
- Reddit or forum comments
- “Look-alike” guides
- Other customers’ photos
- Personal expectation of appearance or scent
- Claims based solely on paint variations, cap differences, or color tone differences
Only verifiable documentation from approved industry professionals or brand-authorized inspection channels will be considered.
6. Scent, Longevity & Performance Variations
Fragrance performance varies due to:
- Skin chemistry
- Climate
- Humidity
- Temperature
- Storage
- Batch differences
Performance dissatisfaction is not a defect and is not considered grounds for:
- Authenticity disputes
- Refunds
- Replacements
- Returns outside policy timeframes
7. No Liability for External Factors
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by carriers
- Packages scanned as “Delivered” but not received
- Theft after delivery
- Incorrect address entered by customer
- Ground-only restrictions due to alcohol-based products
- Changes imposed by shipping regulations
These issues must be resolved with the carrier.
8. Product Descriptions & Visuals
We make every effort to display product images accurately. However:
- Manufacturers update designs frequently
- Lighting and device screens affect color appearance
- Product packaging may vary from stock photos
Photographs are for general reference only.
Purchases are made with the understanding that minor variations are normal.
9. No Warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Products are sold as-is
- We disclaim all implied warranties
- We are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond our return window
