Processing & Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Fragrance Vault. Our shipping policies are designed to provide clarity, consistency, and a smooth delivery experience while protecting both our customers and our business.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Processing Time (3–7 Business Days)

All orders are processed within:

3–7 business days

(excluding weekends and holidays).

During sales, promotions, restocks, or high-volume periods, processing may extend slightly. We appreciate your patience.


2. Ground Shipping Only

Fragrances are classified as hazardous materials due to alcohol content.

Because of this:

  • Orders may ship via ground transportation only
  • Expedited or air shipping may not be available
  • Shipping options shown at checkout comply with carrier restrictions

3. Shipping Times

Shipping times begin after the order has finished processing.

Typical transit time:

  • 2–5 business days, depending on the destination

These timelines are estimates and not guarantees.
Transit delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, or routing are outside our control.

Once your is marked shipped, it may no longer be modified or canceled.


4. Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

If your package is:

  • Marked delivered but not received
  • Lost in transit
  • Damaged by the carrier

You must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.).

We cannot issue refunds or replacements for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.


5. Returned Packages / Incorrect or Insufficient Address

If your package is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Insufficient address
  • Recipient unavailable
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Failure to collect from the carrier

You will be responsible for a reshipment fee:

  • $10–$15 for domestic orders

If you choose not to pay the reshipment fee:

The order will be marked as abandoned and is not eligible for:

  • Refunds
  • Replacements
  • Store credit

6. Customer Responsibility 

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Enter a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address
  • Ensure the location can safely receive packages
  • Double-check all information before submitting an order

Please carefully review your shipping address before placing an order.

Orders with incorrect addresses cannot be refunded after shipment.


7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable, including orders that are:

  • Returned 
  • Refused
  • Undeliverable
  • Delayed by the carrier

8. Free Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on U.S. orders over $200.


9. Processing & Shipping Delays

If your order is taking longer than expected, please contact us before filing a dispute or chargeback.

Disputes related to delivery delays forfeit eligibility for:

  • Refunds
  • Store credit
  • Order support

Once a chargeback is filed, the order becomes ineligible for assistance, even if the dispute is resolved in our favor.
